The Digital Design Director leads and sets the Digital design direction for all digital mediums. The Director oversees a team of 5 designers who create all digital collateral for the website and app. The Director works collaboratively with the UX team and other departments to design exceptional customer focused digital experiences.


  • Brainstorming and create concepts for best-in-class visual design experiences through performing competitor and visual design research, producing user interface designs, visual concepts and mock-ups, iconography, pixel perfect brand and style guide.

  • Pull swipe, build mood boards, and visually explore digital experiences and graphic design.

  • Solve problems through design thinking, and basic understanding of the digital landscape.

  • Understand the fashion e-commerce space and stays up to date of best practices and maintains knowledge of latest digital technology.

  • Effectively communicate visually through hand drawn sketching as well as rapidly prototype sketches

  • Identify opportunities for projects and initiatives for elevating our brand in the digital space.

  • Experience using web analytics data to inform design decisionsmust have an intermediate understanding of major web analytics packages and SEO strategies.

  • Work with UX team, senior designers, project managers, and developers to expand the visual language across multiple platforms, including apps and website.

  • Lead and partner with the e-commerce team to conceptualize, design, and execute web strategies.

  • Supports and collaborates with the UX team to improve and help develop new online interactive strategies.

  • Manages a Design team who designs all emails, banners, category page content and site promotions that support business objectives.

  • Helps facilitate their team's collaboration with merchandisers, copywriters, and e-commerce specialists in the production of consistent and captivating brand messages.


  • Must have a very strong background with at least 7+ years of digital and user interface design experience (web + app)

  • Has a strong portfolio with diverse, engaging designs with a sharp eye for details and ability to prioritize tasks.

  • Understand responsive design and how to design styles/images that work seamlessly across breakpoints.

  • Thoroughly understand HTML and CSS to communicate typographic, grid and aspect ratio specifications for development (aka delivery of red lines).

  • Have experience building and maintaining a digital style guide. A belief and experience in object oriented design would be a plus

  • Demonstrates proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Sketch and Keynote

  • Knowledge and understanding of coding and interactive capabilities.

  • Experience in retail or fashion related industry is a plus.


Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Advertising or equivalent.

Responsibilities: * Partner with the Office of General Counsel (OGC) and KPMG's senior leaders to develop KPMG's intellectual property (IP) strategies for business functions and innovation groups within the firm and be responsible for executing the implementation of those strategies * Manage KPMG's IP portfolio, i.e. granted patents, granted trademarks; coordinate and collaborate with OGC and outside counsel in respect to patent and trademark filings * Partner with innovation teams to provide consultative services related to IP management while new products and services are being developed and implemented. Consult with team members at all levels of the organization to advise on various statutory intellectual property protection options such as copyrights, patents, trademarks, and trade secrets in additional to operational controls which may be employed to safeguard the firm's IP * Actively participate and act as key stakeholder in global discussions around IP-related policies, standards, methods and operating procedures; Act as key stakeholder in IP policy review and owner of development of IP standards, methods and collateral * Collaborate with global IP leaders/attorneys, drive requirements and considerations for a global IP-sharing marketplace to maximize IP leverage throughout the KPMG network * Operational responsibility including conducting regular "road shows" and education sessions; developing IP related documentation (i.e. reference guides, protocols such as onboarding talent from other organizations, and respecting IP of Alliance partners); oversee the Firm's internal IP webpage; managing the Firm's trade secret protection program; liaise with Marketing and Global Branding on trademark filings; automating current manual IP processes Qualifications: * A minimum of ten years of experience managing Intellectual Property * Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university; Master's Degree is preferred * Strong understanding of cutting-edge technology such as blockchain, artificial intelligence, and data analytics * Solid understanding of statutory IP protections such as patents, trade secrets, trademarks and copyrights is required * Outstanding verbal/written communication, collaboration, presentation and negotiation skills to lead an environment driven by customer service and team work; Must be US citizen or permanent resident * Willing to travel ten to twenty percent KPMG LLP (the U.S. member firm of KPMG International) offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package.
