Nestled in a picturesque suburban community, our school offers the advantage of being within a two-hour drive to both San Francisco (to the west) and the breathtaking Sierras and Lake Tahoe (to the east). Position: Montessori Lead Teacher

Responsibilities:

• Teach a mixed-grade class following the Montessori Method.

• Fully engage in the life and mission of RSMS.

• Maintain open and proactive communication with students' parents.

• Collaborate actively with colleagues and contribute to a supportive team environment.

• Complete all administrative responsibilities in a timely manner.

Requirements:

• Montessori certification from an accredited institution (Elementary level).

• Valid California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential.

• A minimum of three years of teaching experience, preferably in Montessori education.

Skills and Characteristics:

• Strong knowledge of Montessori content and current teaching methodologies.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• High energy, willingness to learn, and organizational skills.

• Commitment to moral purpose, clarity, conviction, and integrity.

• Ability to establish proactive communication with parents and engage actively with colleagues.
