SALARY: Based on the 2024 - 2025 Teacher Salary Schedule

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: (Qualifications which are essential to the position)
Valid Washington State Teaching Certificate with Health & Fitness Endorsement
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
Must be able to meet all virtual learning conditions
Experience with Pasco School District's Virtual Learning Programs Core 4 platforms (Zoom, Canvas, One Drive, Nearpod,)
High level of computer literacy
Willingness to participate in sheltered training such as Guided Language Acquisition Design (GLAD)
Ability and willingness to work toward improving student achievement based on state and national standards, school improvement plan, and all other state requirements
Ability and willingness to participate in required trainings and professional development opportunities
Demonstrate a core belief system that matches the guiding principles and vision/mission of the school and be willing to operate accordingly
Willingness to work with a system that allows for peer collaboration and student intervention within the work day
Willingness to implement best practice strategies for student learning and interventions
Willingness to participate collaboratively with staff members for the purpose of improving student learning including cross grade level and grade level partners
Exceptional record keeping and communication skills
QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED: (Qualifications which are not required but would be useful to the position)
Previous successful classroom teaching experience
Bilingual/Biliterate English/Spanish
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide all content instruction in an all online platform
Hold office hours each day
Development and adjustment of learning and intervention plan
Adjust course content as needed in order to accomodate students individual learning needs
Inform PDLA Administrators of student concerns and work together to resolve team
Be willing to do PD and training pertinent to the learning management system/Core 4 platforms and other platforms needed for the program.
