The Department of Computer Science invites applications for an open-rank, tenure-track faculty position in computer security. The University of Arizona is building broad strength in security across campus, with positions this year in Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, and Systems and Industrial Engineering.

Outstanding candidates in related areas will also be considered. The Department has a long history of research accomplishment, influential software distribution, and substantial external funding. Current research areas include algorithms, architecture, bioinformatics, compilers, computational geometry, databases, high performance computing, networks, operating systems, security, vision, and visualization.
