Job title: Unix/Linux Admin with cloud experience
Location: North Chicago, IL (Local talent only to the role )
Duration: 12 months+

Must have Requirements:
1) Must be highly technical in Linus Unix 2) Must have some cloud experience (AWS preferred as this is what team is using now) but open to MS Avure or Google.

Description:

Manages the administration of an organization's Unix and Cloud environment.
Follow policies and procedures related to data security and integrity and monitors and limits Unix access as needed.
Oversees the design, maintenance and implementation of the systems that manage an internal Unix and Cloud.
Requires a bachelor's degree with at least 8 years of experience in the field. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
Generally supports mainstream skills or common platforms Administration, Infastructure Support, Unix/Linux?Cloud,, and Windows.
Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks.

Be able to write automate testing and create tools so developers can test their own code. Specifically * Design and develop automated solutions that help guarantee the quality of the software across different devices and locales * Work on software testing challenges involving data integrity, API, cross browser, mobile device, Micro service and large scale rest/web services * Work closely with developers to build test automation, test infrastructure and perform code analysis/review to enable development quality * Lead other test engineers to improve automate test and release processes * Maintain test result reporting and visualization * Communicate with product, design and technical stakeholders * Contribute to the long term vision and strategy in your domain of expertise * 5+ years professional experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) * 3+ years developing automation in at least one of OO languages * Advanced knowledge and experience of MEAN stack development * Experience with test frameworks and automation tools such as Protractor, Selenium, Cucumber and Saucelabs. * Familiarity working in an Agile DevOps environment Preferred Qualifications * QA Methodologies and software life cycle * Demonstrated experience in test framework design and development * Experience instrumenting CI/CD pipelines * Experience with Jenkins on automation job setup * Awareness of secure software development principals * Self-starter with excellent organizational and time management skills * Interest in mentoring team members who are transitioning to use MEAN stack * Ability to work at both detailed and abstract levels * Unix and/or Linux; Unix tools and basic Unix scripting languages * Cloud Native knowledge such as AWS is a bonus.
