Position Overview:

Reporting to the Director, University Relations, this role is responsible for the administrative portions of the college recruiting process to achieve new college graduate and intern hiring goals. Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines is crucial to success in this position. The right individual must provide world-class service to candidates and internal clients and partners, including the recruiting team, HR business partners, hiring managers, and business executives. The selected individual must demonstrate the utmost professionalism and sense of urgency.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the full life cycle of new college graduate and intern recruiting: sourcing, screening, scheduling, interviewing, and presenting and negotiating job offers to candidates

  • Assist in campus recruiting efforts including planning, coordination, and execution of college events across multiple locations

  • Support recruiting teams in coordinating the selection, interviewing, and onboarding of candidates for open positions

  • Coordinate interviews and travel arrangements, including associated expense processing

  • Ensure candidates, hiring managers, and recruiters' needs are met during the interview process

  • Create offer letters and other associated hiring process materials with input from the recruiter

  • Process each hired candidate through pre-hire /onboarding requirements

  • Assist with documentation and reporting per compliance guidelines

  • Collaborate with and support recruiters to:

  • Work with and hiring managers to meet staffing needs, ensure quality of selection and timeliness of hire

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to generate a pipeline of qualified candidates, and to source specific requirements

  • Actively implement diversity recruitment strategies in partnership with Engagement & Inclusion

  • Recruit/Source technical engineering candidates using sourcing techniques to include on-line and internal databases, contact lists, and job postings as well as sourcing passive candidates through networking, social media sites, cold calling, complex internet searches and researching and identifying markets to tap for qualified talent

  • Pre-screen potential candidates for employee openings; assess candidates' qualifications and culture fit through a combination of behavioral based interviews and competency-based evaluations. Interview prospective candidates on consistent set of qualifications and educate candidates on company. Submit qualified candidates to Hiring Managers.

  • Prepare salary offers in collaboration with compensation specialists and HR Business Partners

  • Actively participate in professional networking groups, job fairs, and other recruiting events

  • Uphold legal requirements and company hiring policies, and coaches and guides managers accordingly

  • Learn and understand our culture and value proposition, and be an ambassador of these values in the market when communicating with candidates

  • Identify and introduce new, creative ideas for sourcing talent

  • Proactive tracking of progress and all work in PeopleFluent applicant tracking system to ensure metrics are accurately captured and goals are met

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 0-2 years of prior related experience.

  • Experience with HR applications and applicant tracking systems, Microsoft Office suite of tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working in a team-oriented, customer service environment

  • Experience with applicant tracking systems or related talent acquisition tools

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers

  • Proven ability to organize and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, rapidly changing business environment

  • Demonstrated ability to process a high volume of error-free detailed work in a short time frame

  • Experience with the college / intern recruiting process strongly preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
