University Lecturer in Physics

The University Lecturer - Physics position is a 10-month full-time faculty position, starting in Fall 2021, with responsibilities starting in August 2021. The successful candidate will have capabilities in teaching general [algebra-based] and university [calculus-based] physics I, II, and III, and potentially [depending on interest]: Introduction to Astronomy, Earth in Space, Introduction to Biophysics, and introductory labs. The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in Physics or closely related field, and experience teaching college-level physics.
The successful candidate will be expected to: Teach freshman and sophomore physics courses Participate in Department and University service through committees and workgroups as needed
Ph.D. in Physics or a closely related field.
