Title: Unit Supervisor

Location: Jamaica, Queens

Position Status: Full Time

FLSA Status: Exempt


Health Home Site Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of care management staff and the daily care management operations of the program. This includes ensuring quality of care management services provided to clients, management of staff documentation requirements, and staff training. The site supervisor will also ensure the provision of adequate clinical support to clinically complex clients and clients in crisis.


  • Provide direct supervision to care managers to assist with the development of effective interventions and care plans.

  • Ensure staff is kept informed of Health Home policies and procedure as well as departmental priorities.

  • Receive appropriate training in order to maintain clinical standards.

  • Monitor Health Home compliance and quality assurance.

  • Provide crisis intervention to clients in psychological distress.

  • Complete enrollment and service data tracking reports monthly or as needed.

  • Continually reviews the service delivery process to exceed customer expectations.

  • Review and approve client documentation as assigned.

  • Consistently exhibit the core values of team work, open book management, advocacy and customer service.

  • Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement activities.

  • Conduct staff meetings, training and supervision.

  • Occasional field work may be required as needed to achieve client outcomes and health home requirements.

  • Facilitation of bi weekly Clinical Case Review with the Care Managers.

  • Masters Degree in Social Work, Psychology or Human Services strongly preferred, Bachelor's Degree required.

  • One year post graduate experience working with individuals or families who have a history of mental illness, substance use, homelessness or HIV/AIDS.

  • Minimum 1 year supervisory experience required.

VIEW JOBS 1/23/2020 12:00:00 AM 2020-04-22T00:00 Position Summary: The Supervisor Inventory Audit reports to the Manager, Materials Reporting and is responsible for the monitoring and control of JetBlue's Technical Supply Chain Assets. This position monitors inventory transactions to ensure that they are accurate and correct transactions to maintain the Maintenance & Engineering System accuracy. The Supervisor will provide the department with necessary oversight of inventory controls and asset management using accepted accounting practices. Essential Responsibilities: * Oversee and ensure inventory accuracy in compliance with the Department of Transportation, Federal Aviation Administration, Sarbanes Oxley, and General Maintenance Manual. * Perform audits of internal controls as required in Section 404 of Sarbanes-Oxley by monitoring Material inventory transactions to identify, investigate and perform root cause analysis on inaccuracies. * Collaborates with Material Operations to improve processes, tools and controls required to meet the company's goals. * Generate reports to fulfill internal and external audit requirements. * Perform inventory audits of business partners and non-Blue maintenance cities. * Identify and lead Continuous Improvement initiatives related to Material processes * Other duties as assigned Minimum Experience and Qualifications: * High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma * Three (3) years of commercial aviation experience in a technical discipline with familiarity using either TRAX or similar M&E Systems * One (1) year of experience in accounting practice and/or principles * Must be able to acquire and maintain a valid Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) Badge * Possess and maintain a valid Driver License and a driving record from the state of your primary residence that meets JetBlue Airways' insurance standards * Currently in possession of a valid Passport with the ability to travel in and out of the United States * Available for occasional overnight travel (50%) * Pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test * Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located Preferred Experience and Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree in aviation, engineering, business, or related discipline * Two (2) years of experience in inventory management or in a technical discipline in aviation * One (1) year experience working in an area covered by Sarbanes-Oxley 404 regulations Crewmember Expectations: * Regular attendance and punctuality * Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice * Well-groomed and able to maintain a professional appearance * When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft * Must be an appropriate organizational fit for the JetBlue culture, that is, exhibit the JetBlue values of Safety, Caring, Integrity, Passion and Fun * Promote JetBlue's #1 value of safety as a Safety Ambassador, supporting JetBlue's Safety Management System (SMS) components, Safety Policy and behavioral standards * Identify safety concerns, issues, incidents or hazards that should be reported and report them whenever possible and by any means necessary including JetBlue's confidential reporting systems (Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) or Safety Action Report(SAR)) * Adhering to all applicable laws, regulations (FAA, OSHA, DOT, etc.) and Company policies, procedures and risk controls * Upholding JetBlue's safety performance metric goals and understanding how they relate to their duties and responsibilities Equipment: * Computer and other office equipment Work Environment: * Normal office environment * Hanger * Warehouse Physical Effort: * Generally not required, or up to 30 pounds occasionally, 0 pounds frequently.
