Sodexo has an exciting opportunity for high performing Safety Manager with our Procter & Gamble partner located in Martinsburg, WV.
This role will serve to support all aspects of safety and compliance at the Procter & Gamble production facility in WV for Sodexo.
The ideal candidate for this position will also have strong client/employee relationship-building skills and possess the ability to handle multiple priorities, quickly grasp situations and logically progress through solutions, the ability to refine systems ensuring sustained effort of achieving standards, follow through and visibility within the facility. Additional criteria include:
2-5 years in a Manufacturing or Industrial Safety role;
Experience Conducting safety inspections and Safety training programs.
Experience tracking and analyzing data to identify potential safety risks;
Ability to lead, drive and promote a strong safety culture;
Strong knowledge and experience conducting hazard identification assessments and analysis;

Key member of local leadership team managing all Quality Assurance, Food, Physical and or Environmental Safety Programs for a specific portfolio of business at multiple locations associated with a global account portfolio. Provides HS&E expertise on new account due diligence; transition and stabilization phases. Initiate plans and manages resources to ensure efficient and cost-effective strategies for occupational health, safety and environmental performance, in addition to partnering with leadership to instil an operational excellence culture.
