Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health League City provides programs and services for adolescents and young adults with emotional, behavioral, developmental and psychiatric disorders. Located in League City, TX, this position is responsible for providing individual or group client care and assisting in the planning, implementation, social, occupational and other developmental programs.

Qualifications

To qualify, we require our direct support lead to:

  • Have a HS diploma/GED with one year of related experience. Bachelor degree or Associates degree with three (3) years of related experience preferred.

  • Have a valid state drivers lcense.

  • Be flexible, patient, energetic, creative, and have a sense of humor

  • Have a strong passion for working with and helping children and adults with special needs.

Physical Requirements:
Pre-employment physical required.

Significant and frequent amounts of walking, sitting, stooping, bending & standing required. Frequent planned, outside activities causing exposure to sunlight and heat. Speaking and hearing ability sufficient to communicate effectively by phone or in person at normal volumes.

Vision adequate to read correspondence, computer screen, forms, etc. Good manual dexterity.

Duties: * Provide Whataburger-quality service to all customers. * Demonstrate the ability to accurately explain the "Whataburger Difference" to customers. * Effectively communicate with management in a timely manner regarding scheduling issues, customer service problems, and equipment malfunctions. * Follow all safety procedures and guidelines including personal safety, equipment use, and food handling and storage. * Ensure all products are stocked, maintained, and prepared according to Whataburger quality standards. * Maintain a clean, safe working environment. * Properly stock inventory using First-In/First-Out (FIFO). * Clean the customer service areas by following the proper procedures as directed by the management person on duty, including outside landscaping, building entrances, dining room tables and condiment stations, restrooms, and food production and storage units. * Achieve certification at the specific stations associated with a position, as well as cleaning and sanitation procedures. * Demonstrate fiscal responsibility with all Company assets by following company cash handling policies. * Demonstrate ability to be a "team player" by contributing to the team's success and communicating effectively with other team members. * Assume additional responsibilities as assigned.
