Under limited supervision, uses specialized knowledge and skills obtained through education and experience to generate sales/commission revenues by providing marketing and sales support of fixed income investments with a primary focus in Unit Investment Trusts (UITs). Detailed instructions, procedures and guidelines are provided to perform routine tasks with limited decision making responsibility. Regular contact with internal and external customers is required to obtain, clarify, or provide facts or information. Resolves routine questions and problems and refers new or unusual issues to a higher level.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assists in providing marketing and trading support to Financial Advisors.
Answers telephones for quotes, orders and general product information.
Assists in responding to inquiries from Financial Advisors about the department's investment philosophies, products and services.
Assists with the dissemination of timely marketing materials for UITs and/or fixed income products and services targeted at financial advisors and investors.
Facilitates order processing and execution including offering set ups and other trading desk administrative functions.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Maintains a team culture that is focused on balanced education and best in class advisor service.
