Unit Educator - Med/Surg

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Unit Educator provides clinical leadership and expertise on his or her assigned department on a twenty-four (24) hour basis. This position utilizes the nursing process in interventions with patient, family, staff and/or community. Functions as clinician, teacher, patient/family advocate, consultant, leader and researcher. Maintains a direct line of communication with the director of Education, Development & Research (EDR) and an indirect line of communication with the acute care clinical unit director.

• Registered Nurse by the State of California

• BLS/CPR Certification

• BSN

• 1 year teaching or instructor experience

Position Pay Range: $38.43 - $63.16 per hour

In compliance with the California Pay Transparency Act, El Centro Regional Medical Center (ECRMC) posts the pay range for all jobs. Please note that actual pay will be determined based on relevant experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Please also note this range is applicable for employees who reside in California only. A geographical pay differential may be applied for remote employees who reside out of state.
