The incumbent is a caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for patients ranging in age from newborn to geriatric. Responsibility is for a designated time frame. The incumbent will help provide safe, therapeutic care for our patients under the guidance of the Registered Nurse, Physicians Assistant, Family Nurse Practitioner and Physician. Other health care team members will be utilized with the multidisciplinary processes.
Previous experience as a Unit Coordinator II/Tech, 6 months Monitor Tech or equivalent experience in an acute care facility (may waive based on operational needs of department)
Basic Cardiac Dysrhythmia
Current BLS certification required (must be certified through the American Heart Association)
Two years of college preferred
Over two years experience as a Unit Coordinator II/Tech, Monitor Tech, or equivalent level experience in an acute care facility preferred
