Unit Coordinator

Qualifications Minimum Education: Required: High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation): Required: None Preferred: One year of clerical work in a clinical setting. License, Registry or Certification: Required: If crossed trained as a Patient Safety Assistant (does suicide 1:1#s), CPR is required. Crisis Prevention (CPI) training is also required, and must be renewed annually. If not certified upon hire, must obtain certification within 6 months. CPI couse will be provided by Huntedon Medical Center. Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities: Required: Computer, Communication and Customer Service skills are essential. Must possess the ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize duties. Works effectively in stressful environment. Must be self directed. Excellent interpersonal skills required. Preferred: Knowledge of medical terminology.
