Position Summary This position consists of 32 hours per week.
The Unit Clerk provides organizational and clerical support to PARC unit. This includes answering the telephone, monitoring and opening locked unit doors, maintenance of patient records, physcian order entry, and intra and inter departmental communication.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education: High School Diploma or GED is strongly preferred.
License/Certifications: N/A
Experience: One year of clinical and/or secretarial experience in health related field preferred.
MOAB Training within six months of hire suggested.
Machinery, Tools, and Equipment: basic skills with computers, fax machine, photocopier, telephone system, locked door system, and printer.
Excellent communication skills.
Knowledge of medical terminology,
Able to reprioritize tasks at hand and work with numerous disruptions and at times a chaotic work environment.
