JOB DESCRIPTION: Answers unit/department telephones and greets visitors according to departmental procedure; screens calls and takes messages or refers caller/visitor to appropriate staff member.

May page staff member if necessary. Receives and transcribes physicians' orders according to established guidelines.

Records, updates, and maintains information in patient records in accordance with department protocol and federal, state and organizational guidelines.

Routes records to appropriate department or staff and maintains confidentiality of information. Operates standard office equipment including telephones, copiers, fax machines, and computers. Inventories, orders, and maintains office supplies and forms; completes purchase requisitions and receives supplies.

Responds to patient requests via patient intercom system. Relays information to appropriate staff for immediate attention. Arranges for medical tests, supplies, equipment treatment and special dietary needs as ordered by a physician.

Enters and retrieves data related to patient charges and supply orders to include daily reconciliation of patient charges to ensure accurate patient billing process. Performs related responsibilities as required. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

A high school diploma or equivalent. One year previous clerical experience and experience with various personal computer software applications. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (MediumMax 25lbs): up to 25 lbs, 0-33% of the work day (occasionally); 11-25 lbs, 34-66% of the workday (frequently); 01-10 lbs, 67-100% of the workday (constantly); Lifting 25 lbs max; Carrying of objects up to 25 lbs; Occasional to frequent standing & walking, Occasional sitting, Close eye work (computers, typing, reading, writing), Physical demands may vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks.

Blood-borne pathogen exposure Bio-hazardous waste Chemicals/gases/fumes/vapors Communicable diseases Electrical shock, Floor Surfaces, Hot/Cold Temperatures, Indoor/Outdoor conditions, Latex, Lighting, Patient care/handling injuries, Radiation, Shift work, Travel may be required. Learn more at The opportunity:The Business Unit HR Manager provides leadership and functional HR generalist support to multiple plant locations within assigned business unit or region. This position executes HR and local /Corporate initiatives at the business unit and facility level including, but not limited to, attracting and retaining talent, driving performance management and talent review process’, employee engagement, employee relations, training and development, workforce planning/headcount management and workers compensation case management. How you will impact WestRock:· Provide guidance to managers and employees regarding WestRock policies/practices, administration, and interpretation to ensure policies and procedures are handled consistently and in a timely manner.· Partner with BU management & plays an active role in finding, attracting and retaining talent.· Ensure effective and timely pre-employment and on-boarding activities and requirements for all new or transferring employees.· Maintains the Human Resource Information System to ensure management has access to appropriate people information to run the business. Provided additional HR data and reports to managers as requested.· Administers all compensation related activities for assigned locations including; annual performance review process, incentive programs, promotions, etc. Ensure that salary recommendations are aligned with WestRock Compensation Guidelines and proper approvals are obtained.· Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues and hotline calls. Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations.· Maintain in depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with legal department as needed/required.· Provides day to day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).· Ensure all annual Performance and Talent Reviews are completed in a timely manner and developmental activities are administered as appropriate. Provide ongoing support as needed. Update key talent data in Talent Management System.· Educate all levels of management and new hires how to effectively update profiles in Cornerstone system with emphasis on relocation and future positions.· Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention; including hands on access regarding Employee Engagement Action Plans.· Assist Management in identifying training needs for business units and individual coaching needs for high potential employees (hourly and salary).· Works with corporate benefits group to communicate and administer corporate benefits programs to hourly and salaried employees at assigned locations. Act as Benefits Champion during open enrollment period.· Handle workers compensation and unemployment case management and related reporting. What you need to succeed:· Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or five or more years related HR Management experience. · Experience managing HR function in a manufacturing, retail, hospitality etc. environment across multiple locations preferred.· SHRM Certification (SHRM-CP or SHRM- SCP) strongly preferred.· Labor relations experience preferred· Active involvement in local SHRM chapter to keep updated on HR happenings, etc. · Excellent consulting expertise.· Strong conflict management experience.· Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.· Excellent verbal, written communication, and platform skills.· Ability to develop strong trusting relationships to gain support and achieve results.· Effectively envision, develop, and implement new strategies to address competitive, complex business issues.· Manage multiple plants in multiple locations.
