Do you have the experience we are looking for?
The F135 Heavy Maintenance Center (HMC) Unit Chief in the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, primary area of responsibility will be providing overall leadership for the HMC depot partnering and operations.
Defining and implementing plans to support the objectives of the business/partnering, including production, planning, scheduling, allocating resources, quality and ACE. Compliance with all EH&S, ISO, Business Practices, ITAR, Import/Export and Company/government policies/procedures. Identify and resolve process improvement opportunities utilizing the ACE tools and principals to enhance quality, improve turnaround times and reduce operational cost. ACE Associate level or achieve within 12 months of being in position Meet all customer and business delivery requirements/schedules; plan and execute contingency plans accordingly. In this regard, the Unit Chief will work closely with P&W Logistics Program Management team, other P&W Military Maintenance Services entities, P&W Support Equipment Operations, and United States Air Force personnel, to deliver an MRO facility that meets stated customer objectives. Ability to work 2nd shift as this position's primary hours are 15:30-00:00
Education / Certifications
Experience / Qualifications
Aerospace and/or Engine experience
Operational management experience and leadership experience
History of successful process improvement
Highly skilled communicator with an ability to maintain productive relationships in difficult situations
Excellent analytical, problem solving, and project management skills
Familiar with tooling, hand tools, material processing/handling, and equipment in an aerospace engine overhaul and repair environment
Proficient in MS Office
Familiarity with the P&W SAP MRO Solution
MRO or engineering experience
