The unit assistant coordinates unit activities in
collaboration with the Charge Nurse to assure the safe and efficient
operation of the unit. Performs clerical responsibilities related to
a specific unit or department.
Posts and reconciles department
charges. Transcribes physician orders. Maintains accurate and
appropriate patient information in the chart.

supervision of the registered nurse is responsible for the delivery of certain
elements of patient care, including assisting patients with activities of daily
living and maintaining a safe and clean environment. Patient care is
provided through the implementation of philosophies, goals and standards of

Education: A Graduate of an accredited
High School or GED Program. [Diploma Required] Certifications: Maintain
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) Certification. Previous
nursing assistant experience, completion of first semester of clinical
courses in an accredited nursing school or completion of hospital nursing
