Union Payroll Specialist
The Union Payroll Specialist will oversee the setup, reporting and general ledger reconciliations for union employees and union benefits.
Monthly reporting for over 50 unions, setup of all union rates, earnings and deductions, based on individual contracts in multiple states across various construction job types.
Setup HRIS system with union rates, fringe benefits, and liability codes
Confirm accuracy of payroll calculations based on contractual obligations
Liaison between company and union offices
Monthly reporting and remittances to unions
General Ledger reconciliation and quarterly reporting for pension funds
Responsible for union audits
High School Graduate
Knowledge of union process and reporting
Prior experience with union setup and reporting preferred
Knowledge of union processes and computer skills
Good communication skills with a team player attitude
Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information
Ability to maintain confidentiality concerning payroll financial issues
