Summary: Plan, perform, organize, coordinate and manage disbursements, reconciliations, reporting, inquiries, audits, and special projects involving labor contracts. This position will assist with inquiries, analysis, reconciliations, and special projects. The responsibilities will include but not be limited to, evaluating weekly disbursements, producing analytical reports, responding to inquiries from external and internal Business Partners, and assisting with Pension, Health & Welfare related audits. Participate in auditing multiple payroll disciplines by performing the related duties and responsibilities. Providing consultation and advice to management on compliance and emerging trends within Union payrolls. Plan, perform, organize, coordinate and participate in long-term and short-term business objectives in maintaining business and compliance needs, and ad-hoc projects as necessary. Some specialization in areas may be required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (other duties may be assigned in addition to the list below)

  • Process Union payrolls

  • Responsible for collective bargaining agreement (CBA) adherence and union communications regarding employee pay & deductions.

  • Resolve inquiries coming from external vendors

  • Prepare analytical disbursement reports

  • Analyze and reconcile disbursement reports

  • Review and conduct training on all CBAs

  • Conduct HCM system testing in Kronos and ADP for changes to vendor requirements and ad-hoc enhancements for CBA changes

  • Kronos and ADP

  • Analyze pay rules and other configurations and make changes as needed

  • Create, Update and Maintain Timekeeping Accrual calculations for all CBAs

  • Correspond with external and internal Business Partners

  • Prepare and review large amounts of data

  • Prepare and assist with audits of Benefit deductions and payments, and Pension, health and welfare audits

  • Support ad-hoc and special projects

  • Manage and create reporting as required for regulatory agencies, auditors, internal customers and litigation

  • Reconciliation and coding of various payroll dept invoices

  • Write and manage higher-level ADP reporting reports needed for data integrations with vendors and customers

  • Back up to processing various payroll cycles for the payroll dept
