Uniformed Operations Security Officer

Established Security Company located in the Glendale / Glassell Park area is looking for a professional, energetic, organized person to help with in-office & field related operations assistance. You will be working out of the Securitech corporate office.

JOB DUTIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

Dispatching and handling of phone / radio by Securitech officers and promptly / courteously answering phones and directing calls as appropriate;

Assist Operations staff by scheduling and assigning officers to open posts.

Assisting employees with questions and helping to resolve their concerns or identifying the appropriate resources to direct them to;

Inputting and completing data entry tasks;

Greeting applicants, visitors, and vendors that come into the office;

Assisting management staff with various light admin functions;

Assisting with various out of office activities and certain errands; to include driving company vehicles

Out of office uniformed security functions as needed while utilizing company vehicles

DAY SHIFT: MONDAY thru FRIDAY / OCCASSIONAL OVERTIME AS NEEDED

Candidate must have a valid California guard card and valid CA driver license.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a busy front office environment handling multiple competing priorities in a professional manner, be highly organized, and enjoy assisting people and resolving problems. Must be highly "customer service" focused and enjoy working with a wide variety of people - this position interacts regularly with applicants, employees, our clients, and management staff.

Must have reliable transportation and be able to maintain excellent attendance. Must also have a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook), email, and internet.
