Position Summary:

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Uniform Attendant.

In this role, the successful candidate Position Summary:Responsible for collecting of soiled uniforms and exchanges for clean ones. Receives clean uniforms delivered by commercial laundry and accounts for them.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collects soiled uniforms and exchanges soiled uniforms for clean. Notifies the supervisor of torn uniforms. Notifies the supervisor of shortages of uniforms on a timely basis.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Receives clean uniforms delivered by commercial laundry. Counts how many uniforms are received and taken away accurately; completes appropriate form neatly.
  
  Places all uniforms delivered on hangers on the designated racks. Contacts commercial laundry when there are delays in deliveries.

Minimum Qualifications:

To qualify you must have a Minimum Qualifications:Must be able to read, speak, write, and follow written and oral instruction in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:High school Diploma or the equivalent combination of education and experiencein a related field.

Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $42,837.89 - $47,180.53 Annually.

Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
