Job Description:

  • Leads and guides the development and implementation of innovative strategies that improve efficiencies, reliability and performance of Voice, Video, and Data Systems; Telephony Systems; Unified Communications; and Network Systems

  • Leads and guides the design, development, and implementation of Voice, Video, and Data Systems; Telephony Systems; Unified Communications; and Network Systems

  • Responsible for all aspects of maintaining, configuring, and sustaining Voice, Video, and Data Systems; Telephony Systems; Unified Communications; and Network Systems

  • Leads and guides the development of innovative methodologies, processes, and procedures for continuous measurement and improvement of services

  • Engages in performance tuning and capacity management to drive improved service delivery and efficiencies

  • Troubleshoots complex technical issues for Voice, Video, and Data Systems; Telephony Systems; Unified Communications; and Network Systems

  • Leads and guides cloud-based solutioning initiatives and projects

  • Proactively identifies and mitigates risks

  • Leads and guides the assessment of current large diverse legacy IT environments, helps analyze gathered data and supports the development of transformational and cloud-based Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) executable plans

  • Evaluates emerging technologies and makes recommendations that would improve Voice, Video, and Data Systems; Telephony Systems; Unified Communications; and Network Systems architecture, delivery, performance, and scalability

  • Leads and guides Voice, Video, and Data Systems; Telephony Systems; Unified Communications; and Network Systems enterprise modernization and transformation initiatives and projects

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline

Qualifications

  • 10+ years' experience designing, configuring, implementing and maintaining Voice, Video, and Data Systems; Telephony Systems; Unified Communications; and Network Systems

  • Experience designing and implementing Voice, Video, and Data Systems; Telephony Systems; Unified Communications; and Network Systems using emerging technologies and tools

  • CCNA Voice Certification or higher is a plus

  • Understanding and experience with Telephony Systems, Unified Communications, Voice over IP (VOIP), and Network infrastructure

  • Understanding and experience with network technologies and protocols

  • Technical expertise in messaging, video, voice, web conferencing and IP telephony technologies

  • Knowledge and understanding of network, wireless, voice systems and UC security technologies

  • Knowledge of cloud-based telephony solutioning
