Here at Insight Enterprise, we have been providing innovative technical solutions for our clients and customers for over 30 years. We have recently supported the overhaul of one of our large, enterprise customer's Cisco setup, and they have asked us to help them find a leader to help support the new UC/UCC abilities of their firm. Therefore, Insight Enterprises is seeking a Senior UC/UCC Collaboration Manager for a 12+ month project, working on site with our customer in Foster City, CA.
This opportunity is responsible for driving the operations, management, administration, maintenance, and support of the collaboration environment(s) Cisco UCCX and MS Teams support. The incumbent maintains a heavy focus on developing and maturing the employee user experience throughout the organization. Through the recruitment, support, and management of a team of technical staff, the incumbent will drive the delivery of technologies that optimize and streamline messaging and collaboration, working to maintain a high level of availability, security, and functionality through sound administration and governance.
What you will be doing:
Overall accountability for IT-related aspects of a collaboration-focused portfolio of applications.
Overall responsibility for the governance and oversight of the Enterprise Software Development Lifecycle (eSDLC) within their team. Supports team members in applying best practices throughout the analysis, estimation, design, development, and deployment of new software and syst
Acts as IT Product Owner, driving platform currency, vulnerability remediation, and other departmental requirements.
Responsible for the oversight of all production support activities including change management, incident management, and on-call scheduling. Serves as escalation point-of-contact for issues and incidents within the portfolio.
Responsible for leadership and/or oversight of corporate strategic projects to ensure execution, budget, schedule, quality, and other business objectives are met.
Responsible for management of multiple competing priorities, covering project, maintenance, and production support work.
Maintains an in-depth understanding of the Company's policies and practices relating to document archival, management, and storage.
Develops, nurtures, and maintains a highly functional and productive partnership with the Company's Infrastructure organization, which is responsible for the overall management of its global operations
Fosters an environment of continuous improvement, developing metrics, standards, and governance controls required to manage their development teams.
Ensures proper, efficient, and cost-effective utilization of company resources.
Ensures that department practices comply with federal and state laws as well as corporate policies.
Ensures effective utilization and availability of material resources by planning, budgeting, and maintaining operational costs within corporate guidelines.

Maintains high regard for member privacy in accordance with the corporate privacy policies and procedures.

What you need to join:
5-10 years of applicable experience
Proven experience developing and leading UC/UCC teams in an enterprise setting (10k+ users) deliverying day-to-day end users services
Proven experience troubleshooting and solving hw/sw operation issues
Must live near Foster City, CA
