Position Purpose
Provide operational support for Personal Umbrella (PUP) products and programs as needed. Support PUP underwriting by creating policy documents, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, maintain electronic underwriting files, provide basic operational support for the product line's underwriters.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
Process renewals, cancels and endorsements per Operations Procedures.
Assist with maintenance of multiple email inboxes and email groups.
Provide back-up support for other Operations Assistants as needed.
Provide basic operational support for the product line's underwriters and sales and marketing team.
Compile and review operational, production and underwriting reports, utilizing front-end systems.
Interact via email with agents/insureds professionally.
Order and review inspection reports as required.
Maintain electronic and/or physical underwriting file.
Organize and review policy forms generated.
Education & Experience
Typically requires a high school diploma; Associates degree preferred
0+ years of related experience for consideration
[OR] equivalent level of education and experience
Knowledge, Skills, & Competencies
Ability to follow operations procedures as outlined by the Operations Manager.
Ability to meet processing deadlines with minimal error.
Ability to manage a variety of projects, both long- and short-term simultaneously.
Ability to use database software including Windows operating systems, computer network environment and printers to process insurance policy changes.
Accurate data entry.
Some product lines require excellent Excel skills as the position requires re-formatting and data cleansing of large spreadsheets.
