Job Description

Perform income including complex self employment, assets, credit and property analysis on conventional loan files submitted within the time frame established by departmental management. Perform timely reviews of conditions submitted a well as loan re-submissions.

Analyze challenging loan packages to render sound credit solutions. Maintain quality and production standards as defined by business. Provides exemplary customer service to both internal staff and external customer by explaining credit decision and offering alternative options when needed.

Provide prompt, courteous and excellent service at an acceptable cost to all customers and operate in accordance with the company's standards. Adequately and effectively explain in written and verbal form the decision reached in a manner that will maintain a positive relationship with all customers. Actively cooperate and interact with all entities of the client. Perform other job related duties and special projects as required.

Duties and Responsibilities: * Coordinates the workflow for Commercial Bankers by ordering and reviewing commercial loan document packages throughout the underwriting and closing process. Maintains adequate documentation to ensure compliance of bank policy with regards to proper collection of all necessary notations, forms, agreements, and signatures of commercial loan documents. * Communicates verbally or via email with commercial banking customers and all associated parties, both internal and external; including attorneys, title companies, and insurance companies involved in the loan closing process to resolve questions regarding information submitted during the underwriting process. Communicates with the borrower and all associated parties, both internal and external, to resolve outstanding issues regarding booked and closed loans. * Prepares, monitors, and maintains reports used for internal and external reporting purposes. . * Assists the Commercial Banking Officers with the tracking and completion of commercial loan documentation and financial exceptions. * Assists the Commercial Banking Officers (within their scope of responsibility) with loan advances, disbursements, construction draws or the requests for construction draws through the Secured Credit Department. * May assist with some lending responsibilities for Senior Commercial Bankers, at closings as a representative of S&T Bank. * Acts as a back-up to the Commercial Banking Analyst II for various duties and responsibilities. * Provides consistent, superior quality customer service to both internal and external customers that meets or exceeds S&T Bank's standards. * Performs other responsibilities related to the commercial banking process as required. * Maintains a good working relationship with bank employees in other departments. Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently, as well as motivated to work as a team player to contribute to the success of the department and in turn, the organization. Physical Demands Operates a keypad device 80% of the day. Operates electronic equipment 80% of the day. Travel: Occasionally as required. The primary parts of the body involved in performing these tasks are the fingers, thumbs, hands, wrists and elbows. Standing is required one hour per day in a straight position. Sitting is required 6.5 hours per day in a straight position. Walking is required 30 minutes per day which is slow in speed. Requires the use of manual dexterity skills for typing, data entry, and filing on a frequent basis of 40% of the business day. Must be able to focus visually at a close distance of 18"-20" for computer work for a period of up to 40% of the business day.
