About the Role:
The Retail Excess Casualty Team of Everest Insurance, a member of the Everest Re Group, Ltd. is looking for a Underwriter to join our NYC office.

Underwriting Excess Casualty business
Exposure identification for a wide variety of business types
Adhering to underwriting rules and guidelines
Developing and maintaining relationships with brokers to maintain renewal business via quality service
Collaborating with other product lines to provide full product support to the client
Start to handle new business overtime or depending on candidates experience level
Work Experience & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or above and/or insurance certifications
A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in underwriting or servicing casualty business
Strong relationship management skills
Excellent analytical, communication, and computer skills
Ability to successfully complete multiple tasks concurrently within a fast-paced, team-oriented, working environment
