The Department of Political Science at Rutgers University, New Brunswick, seeks applicants for a one year, full time non-tenure track position, to teach undergraduate classes in the field of American politics, beginning September 1, 2020. Appointment will be at the Lecturer/Instructor rank and is non-renewable. The appointment entails a 6 course teaching load (3/3) per academic year.
The successful candidate will teach courses in the department's undergraduate curriculum, such as our large TA-supported American Government course, Elections and Participation, Interest Groups, Party Politics, Psychology and Politics, Politics of Black America, and/or Undergraduate Research Methods. Additional teaching may be built around the applicant's research interests.
