Responsibilities

We are a leading healthcare organization committed to providing comprehensive mental health services to individuals and families in our community. Our team of dedicated professionals is focused on promoting wellness, offering support, and empowering individuals to lead fulfilling lives. We are currently seeking a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our dynamic team.

This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment and make a meaningful impact on the lives of others.

• Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans for clients

• Provide individual and group therapy using evidence-based therapeutic modalities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and referrals

• Conduct crisis intervention and risk assessments as needed

• Offer support and guidance to clients in navigating community resources and support systems

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with regulatory standards

• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Iowa.

• Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience in mental health counseling preferred.

• Proficiency in conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing therapeutic interventions.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles and cultural competence.

• Commitment to ethical practice and client-centered care.
