We're seeking a Customer Service Disputes Team Lead to join our team! In this role, you'll be the main contact person for answering organizational disputes, escalations, and patient billing concerns.
Location: This position is open to remote/work from home with strong preference for candidates residing within the UPH geographies of Iowa, Illinois, & Wisconsin.

Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
Has responsibility for prompt and compliant resolution of claim dispute issues and billing of patient account receivables. All accounts should be handled in a manner that follows all compliance standards.
Responsible for understanding the patient accounting operations of each affiliate utilizing the CBO services to support the team in resolving billing-related issues.
Functionsshould be handled in a manner that promotes a positive public image for UnityPoint Health affiliates and maintains adequate cash flow.
Serve as a back-up resource for the customer service department representatives.
Qualifications
What You'l Need:
Education:
Required: High school graduate or GED equivalent.
Experience:
Required:
3 years of experience in a customer service environment and Medical Billing experience.
Preferred:
Epic experience.
