Under the direct supervision of the Director, Child & Adolescent Services, the LMHP will provide in-depth psycho-social assessments of residents who live in the 5 counties which will include:
Assess the need for psycho-metric testing as needed.
Receive assignments from the RYC EIR Management Team.
Ensure quality benchmarks and contract obligations are met.
Provide assessments, coordinate with area psychologist to secure psycho-metric testing as needed, and complete comprehensive reports and recommendations for treatment.
Receive case assignment from the Director, Child & Adolescent Services and other RYC Crisis Contract Mgt Team members.
Ensure that the care model and contract requirements are completed, and that best care and patient outcomes are provided for every encounter.
Provide support and education on crisis system services to all providers and the community in the Eastern Iowa Region.
Build relationships with JCS, HHS, AEA, DeCat, School Districts, Behavioral Health Providers, First Responders, and other key stakeholders.
Assist the Children's Services Coordinator in developing, designing, and tracking metrics and researching outcomes of EIR services.

Responsibilities
Program Level
Point of contact with the EI Region for individuals requiring comprehensive evaluation, testing, and care planning and development
Receive referrals from EIR Care Coordinators, for individuals experiencing the highest level of mental health needs
Coordinate assessment, evaluation and needed psychometric testing
Coordinate care planning among community agencies, schools, and families.
Coordinates Crisis Stabilization Planning as needed
Phone call made to referring agencies within 72 hours
Phone call made to youth/family within 72 hours
Completes/submits data collection
Community:
Builds relationships with hospitals, community mental health centers, substance use disorder providers, JCS, HHS, AEA, DeCat, School Districts, First Responders, law enforcement, jail staff, Communications
Provide community education on services available through the EIR Crisis System.

Experience:
License(s)/Certification(s):
Valid driver's license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons.
Must hold independent licensure status in Iowa
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Must demonstrate ability to assess and identify and act upon psychosocial needs and work independently in an outcome orientated environment.
Strong ability to connect and create a trusting environment with patients is required.
Strong leadership skills and ability to form professional working relationships with peers.
Must have interpersonal and communication skills necessary to deal with a wide variety of patients and professionals with the ability to negotiate and establish effective working relationships with a multidisciplinary healthcare and community service team.
Develop, design, and track metrics and researching outcomes.
Ability to document in, have knowledge of and use of the computer.
