Under general supervision performs professional duties in the application of Ultrasonography services. Demonstrates proficiency in performing all Ultrasound related exams and other related patient care services.

Interprets physician's orders correctly
Correctly orders, tracks and charges exams in a timely fashion

Assures equipment is in proper working order
Enters technical information, completes reports and surveys and complies with all regulatory agencies.
Completes unusual occurrences as needed
Participates in hospital-wide performance improvement
Education: Graduate of JRCERT approved school for Radiologic Technology with extensive training and experience in Ultrasound to prove competent or a graduate of an accredited school of Ultrasonography.
Experience: 1-2 years preferred minimum.
License(s)/Certification(s): RDMS in Abdomen and OB/GYN or registry eligible. If registry eligible, must sit for RDMS within 24 months of successfully passing Physics, Abdomen and OB/GYN.
