Job DescriptionUltrasound Technologist Part TimeThe schedule is Sunday and Monday, 6am-6:30pAs an Ultrasound Tech at Northwest Medical Center Women's Imaging (Mammography) you'll play a vital role in doing what you do best- providing quality care to our patients. Our OR staff enjoy a robust benefits package including health insurance, 401K, flexible scheduling, Tuition Reimbursement, and up to 10K for student loan payments.Requirements: * Graduate of an AMA approved school of ultrasonography or radiologic technology. * Desirable characteristics include at least two years of experience in a hospital or medically related environment. * Must be able to follow directions and to perform work according to department standards when no directions are given. Must be emotionally mature and able to function under stress.* BLS required.* ACLS and PALS preferred. * Required:
* ARDMS Registry/Certificate in Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)* -OR-* ARRT Registry/Certificate in Radiography* -AND-* ARRT Registry/Certificate in Ultrasound.About the Job: * Under direction of a Radiologist, perform diagnostic ultrasonographic procedures, to include abdominal, pelvic, thoracic, head and neck, obstetric and extremity (non vascular) exams and able to assist in invasive procedures with a practitioner.We know it's not just about finding a job.
