Ultrasound Technologist I/Ii - Intermittent

Under direct supervision for Ultrasound Technologist I and general supervision for Ultrasound Technologist II, the ultrasound technologist is responsible for preparing and positioning patients for various medical imaging procedures, such as, routine ultrasounds to produce high-quality diagnostic images that can be interpreted by a Radiologist.

PAYROLL TITLES AND APPROXIMATE SALARIES:

Radiologic Specialist I: $41.35 - $54.23 hourly

Radiologic Specialist II: $45.62 - $55.45 hourly

DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS:

Radiologic Specialist I- is the entry, training level of the Radiologic Specialist series.

Radiologic Specialist II- is the journey level of the Radiologic Specialist series. Incumbents have a minimum of two (2) years' experience and perform their duties more independently in their respective specialty areas. Radiologic Specialist II will also assist in the training of student technologists and other imaging staff members as needed.
