Summary:#Provides health care services apply sonic energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment. Performs ultrasonic imaging and related procedures in one of the following areas:

OB/GYN, abdomen, small parts and vascular.

Demonstrate anatomy for interpretation and/or intervention by or at the request of a licensed practitioner. Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complementary to medical ethics.

Applies appropriate patient care and recognized patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.

Possess a demeanor complementary to medical ethics. Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient#s conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.

Education:

Satisfactory completion of an ultrasound training program.

Licensure:

ARDMS in Abdomen and OB/GYN or Vascular.

Experience:

Prior experience preferred in performing abdomen, small parts and OB/GYN or Vascular Rexams
