Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Registration Requirements: Registered or registry eligible by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS). New graduates: must be registered with ARDMS within two years of graduation; all other personnel must be registered with ARDMS within one year of hire Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Sonography (S) Registered as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) by the ARDMS within three years of hire.
