7:30a on#weekdays; 7p#- 7a weekends# # Job Summary Provides ultrasonography health care services, applying sonic energy to demonstrate anatomical anatomy for medical diagnosis. Ultrasonic examinations are done at the request of a medical licensed practitioner and these exams are interpreted by a qualified licensed medical physician. Exercises professional judgement in the performance of services and maintains a demeanor complementary to medical ethics. Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure. As an ultrasonographer you must carry out the specific responsibilities of your job, plus the vision of the hospital

Education Graduate from an approved school of Radiologic Technology and/or an approved Ultrasound School Experience Pediatric ultrasound experience preferred. Licensures, Certifications, and/or Registries If applicant has graduated from an approved school of Radiology Technology, ARRT certification preferred. Certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) in one area within 12 months of hire date.
