Ultrasonographer - Piedmont Location - Sign On Bonus!

The Ultrasound Technician will support the needs of our patients and facility by way of performing the necessary ultrasounds. We are hiring for a full-time position that will require working during the week as well as being available to work on weekends and rotating holidays. This role will be in Piedmont.

We are offering a $1500 Sign on bonus with this position!

Essential Responsibilities:

• Obtain measurements and calculations of female anatomy while performing a detailed ultrasound examination.

• Utilize techniques that result in optimized images.

• Obtain appropriate images that clearly demonstrate ultrasound findings in accordance with specified protocols and accreditation standards.

• Communicate effectively with medical staff regarding pertinent ultrasound findings in a concise, complete and accurate manner.

• Perform departmental tasks that are necessary to maintaining quality throughout all aspects of job duties performed.

• Document results utilizing our electronic medical records system.

• Other tasks as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited program resulting in the certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or DMS.

• Must be able to function independently.

• Must possess the ability to work collaboratively with the clinical team

• Must possess the interpersonal skills needed to communicate effectively with patients, staff and medical personnel.

• At least 1 years of ultrasound experience in the field of gynecology/OB or fertility is highly preferred.
