Job Description:

ULS Associate Teacher 3

75% Teach 5 of 7 classes daily on content area instruction in Health & Physical Education. One class period daily of class/curriculum planning One class period daily of team/department meetings, duty, and/or other supervision duties

15% Attend Development meetings monthly as determined by the Administration.

10% All other duties as assigned by the Secondary Principal and/or Director. This would include but is not limited to, covering additional classes as needed.

Must complete Master's degree within three years of hire date; Teaching Certificate or eligibility for certification in Louisiana and pass a mandatory background and fingerprinting with the Louisiana State Police is required at the time of hire. This position and/or position's responsibilities require work directly with minors. Fingerprinting and a National Sex Offender Registry check are required per FASOP HR-04. Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's in a related field; Must complete Master's degree within three years of hire date; Teaching Certificate or eligibility for certification in Louisiana. In addition to minimum qualifications, completion of a master's degree within three (3) years of the official start date is required. Failure to comply may result in termination.
