As a UKG TeleStaff Consultant, you will play a crucial role in implementing, configuring, maintaining, and upgrading the UKG TeleStaff software, specifically catering to the needs of Police, Fire, EMS, and other City and Public Safety organizations.

This position requires a strong understanding of UKG TeleStaff and its functionalities. This role requires a deep understanding of the public safety industry, scheduling policies and practices throughout the country, and proficiency in UKG TeleStaff to ensure our clients' critical scheduling needs are met effectively. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering top-quality services and possess excellent problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

  • Provide consulting services for the implementation, upgrade, and optimization of UKG TeleStaff for Police, Fire, EMS, and other City and Public Safety organizations.
  • Collaborate with public safety clients to assess their unique workforce scheduling needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Provide training and support to public safety agencies, ensuring they can effectively use UKG TeleStaff to manage and optimize their staffing and scheduling.
  • Troubleshoot issues, perform updates, and maintain the UKG TeleStaff system for public safety clients.
  • Develop custom reports using BIRT to meet the specific reporting requirements of clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with UKG TeleStaff product updates and industry best practices in public safety scheduling and staffing.
  • Assist in pre-sales activities, including product demonstrations and project scoping for public safety clients.
  • Document project specifications, progress, and outcomes, with a strong focus on compliance and data security.
  • Manage projects assigned and provide status updates to management as necessary.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with UKG TeleStaff in a consulting role.
  • Proficiency in UKG TeleStaff software is essential.
  • In-depth knowledge of public safety scheduling principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with public safety agencies and first responders.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with custom reporting using BIRT.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Project management experience is highly desirable.
  • Prior experience working with public safety agencies, including police, fire, or emergency services, is a significant advantage
