CACI is seeking a UI/UX Graphic Designer to join our Team in Arlington, VA.

As the UI/UX Designer, you will be responsible for the design and production of various digital design deliverables including wireframes, visual mockups, clickable prototypes, and other artifacts needed to articulate website and web-based application user experience (UX) and design concepts.

In this role you will coordinate with customer stakeholders and leadership, project managers, content strategists, writers, and programmers to create a consistent, easy-to-use, and aesthetically pleasing end-user experience across all relevant digital touchpoints.

About the Role:

  • Gather and evaluate website end-user requirements in collaboration with product managers, content team, and website developers.

  • Translate requirements into journey maps, process flows, wireframes and high-fidelity mockups that incorporate the visual brand identity and lead to intuitive user experiences.

  • Communicate user scenarios, end-to-end experiences, interaction models, and screen designs to developers, business analysts, and other team members working on the product. Effectively articulate the motivations and needs of the target audience.

  • Follow all relevant style guides, design standards and other required practices.

  • Use primary and secondary user research to create and maintain user personas that help internal stakeholders understand key user archetypes.

  • Use a variety of qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques to continuously improve the user experience.

  • Contribute to and lead various user research studies and usability tests to understand site visitor needs and challenges and to continuously enhance usability of website.

  • Work collaboratively with other digital engagement team members to develop and execute on implementation plans.

Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to obtain a DHS Entrance on Duty (EOD).

  • Five (5) or more years of experience in user experience (UX) design, website design, and usability testing and research for public facing, content driven properties supported by a portfolio of work examples.

  • 13 years applicable experience or equivalency (equivalency includes MA + four years applicable experience, BA + 7 years applicable experience or AA + 9 years applicable experience)

  • Experience working collaboratively with web designers and product managers.

  • Solid experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma.

  • Experience with HTML, Javascript, and CSS.

  • Expert knowledge in user-centered design principles, information architecture, prototyping, systems design, and interaction design.

  • A solid grasp of user-centered design and testing methodologies, subsystems, and usability and accessibility concerns, including experience with 508 compliant designs.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$56,000-$117,500
