CSEngineering is looking to add a DevSecOps UI/UX Designer to our growing team! This position is supporting the F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO) and its joint efforts with the Air Force's "Platform One" centralized team to launch a DevSecOps platform.

CLIENT OVERVIEW

The F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO) is the Department of Defense's (DoD) focal point for defining affordable next generation strike aircraft weapon systems for the Navy, Air Force, Marines, and our allies. The F-35 is the next generation strike fighter bringing cutting-edge technologies to the battlespace of the future. The F-35's advanced airframe, autonomic logistics, avionics, propulsion systems, stealth, and firepower will ensure that the F-35 is the most affordable, lethal, supportable and survivable aircraft ever to be used by so many warfighters around the world.

The JPO, with the Air Force Platform One team, is building an infrastructure-agnostic platform to support the F-35's vast infrastructure options (including - Government clouds, on premise, disconnected and classified environments), with the ability to deploy a DevSecOps platform (Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) Kubernetes compliant) with accredited and secured hardened containers built from the DoD Centralized Artifacts Repository (DCAR), now referred to as Iron Bank, in order to support the F-35's ability to field operational capabilities faster.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deploy vendor created and USG created software into AWS, Azure, and Azure Stack environments via Kubernetes

  • Provide development, buildout and sustainment of hardware and software tools to support enterprise management of unclassified, secret, and secret SAP environments

  • Provide integration and sustainment of the JPO defined CI/CD pipeline technology stacks into AWS / Azure and Azure Stack cloud environments

  • Sustain all production level Kubernetes containers as defined by the JPO

  • Assist in creating artifacts in support of an initial and/or continuous Authorization To Operation (ATO)

  • Onboarding and supporting product teams across the F-35 as they leverage the tech stack to continuously develop and deploy code to multiple security environments. To accomplish this task, the position will:

  • Modify and develop new Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment, (CI/CD) pipelines to support a wide variety of software languages and software product teams.

  • Work with software development product teams to troubleshoot different aspects of CI/CD pipelines or other developer's issues.

  • Continuously monitor and deploy software products into a multitude of classified and unclassified environments.

  • Support the IT operations of multiple unclassified and classified systems.

  • Create, develop, and modify documentation to support in person and virtual onboarding and support.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Security Clearance: Secret

  • United States Citizenship

  • Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance

  • Ability to attend occasional meetings in Crystal City, VA

  • Demonstrated knowledge in the following:

  • Design thinking

  • UI/UX frameworks and design technologies

  • Custom Discovery
