Roles and Responsibilities

As UI/UX Designer at Asentech LLC is responsible for designing intuitive and engaging user interfaces for websites and web applications. Key responsibilities include interacting with clients to understand design requirements, creating and documenting design strategies, and developing user-friendly layouts, flow, and visual elements like graphics and logos. The role also involves preparing prototypes, storyboards, mockups, and conducting usability testing to troubleshoot and refine designs.

Client Interaction:

• Engage directly with clients during the design phase of projects.

• Participate in discussions to understand client needs and design preferences.

• Collect detailed design requirements and document them for further reference.

Design Development:

• Select and arrange information in a way that makes web layouts user-friendly and interactive.

• Design the visual flow and overall aesthetic of websites to enhance user experience.

• Focus on e-commerce and various other web applications to plan and design user interfaces (UI) and prototypes.

Creation of Design Elements:

• Develop storyboards, mockups, process flows, and sitemaps to guide the design process.

• Design functional elements like menus, tabs, widgets, navigation buttons, and search fields to improve website usability.

• Produce graphics, logos, illustrations, and other visual media to support the overall design of the project.

Presentation and Revision:

• Prepare and present initial drafts to stakeholders to gather feedback.

• Identify and solve user experience (UX) problems based on user feedback and testing.

• Make necessary revisions to design drafts to meet client expectations and project requirements.

Travel and Relocation:

• The role may require travel and relocation to unanticipated locations throughout the U.S., depending on project needs and client locations.

Technical Competency

• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3.

• Understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS

• Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery

• Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image. Familiarity with tools such as Gimp or Photoshop is a plus.

• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.

• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as {{Git / SVN}}

• Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them

Functional Competency

• Any Graduate/Postgraduate/Any Engineering.

• Preferably 3+ years of experience in UI (Frontend).

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Flexibility, energy, and ability to work well with others in a cross functional environment.

• Should be able to learn and upskill in new technologies.

• Being a team player can deliver in a high pressure and high demanding environment.
