Ui/Ux Designer

The Purpose of Your Role

As a UI/UX Designer, you'll translate user insights and requirements to deliver great experiences for our customers. You'll work closely with business stakeholders, product, and engineers to build new features and have a vision to improve our existing products.

Occasional onsite work will be required. For this reason candidates should live in the greater Dallas/Fort Worth area, or be willing to relocate.

You will bring your experience delivering from the research phase through production and passion for the latest user experience trends. Your depth of experience with mobile platforms designs will allow you to lend your expertise on the different considerations for iOS, Android, and web application design.

We'd love to see your portfolio, showcasing design skills and demonstrating your ability to translate user needs into user friendly designs that positively impact user's experiences.

Responsibilities

• Work with cross-functional teams to inspire and influence product design decisions, adhering to the latest UX trends and best practices

• Develop and deliver high quality concepts, wireframes, mockups, assets, and prototypes for new and existing features for responsive web and mobile apps

• Communicate effectively with business stakeholders, product management and engineers

• Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities

• Receive feedback with a positive attitude, and defend design decisions when necessary

• Be an advocate for the user, driving the development of features and designs that align with their needs, while achieving business and marketing goals

Education/Experience/Training

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, UX, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent on-the-job experience

• 2+ years of experience in a UI/UX Designer role.

• Comfortable working with tools such as Figma, Sketch, etc.

• Strong understanding of mobile design, including Apple's Human Interface Guidelines and Android Material Design. Experience applying these to a project is preferred.

• Experience working closely with product management and driving the vision for products.

• Experience incorporating user research and feedback into design decisions.

• Portfolio demonstrating ability to create designs from ideas and research to production.
