Location: Richmond, VA or McLean, VA (Hybrid; relocation support available within the first 3 months of employment) Overview: Our client, a leading financial company, is seeking a talented and experienced UI Engineer to join their dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity to work on the Enterprise API Platform and elevate API experiences to new heights. The role involves building and scaling internal client products and contributing to the evolution of the GraphQL Federation and core platform capabilities. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with a new team of engineers to scale the built-out product for internal clients and prepare for broader scaling.

• Develop and enhance the Enterprise API Platform, focusing on enabling GraphQL Federation and building core platform functionalities.

• Utilize Angular with state management to create efficient, scalable, and maintainable front-end solutions.

• Develop reusable web components using the Lit framework, ensuring consistency and efficiency across the platform.

• Implement standard web page building practices and contribute to the reusable component library.

• Work closely with product managers, backend engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality user interfaces. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• At least 4 years of experience as a UI Engineer or in a similar role.

• Proficiency in Angular, Node.js, CSS, and HTML.

• Experience with state management in Angular.

• Familiarity with the Lit framework for building reusable web components.

• Understanding of federated architecture and API management.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a hybrid team setting. Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the financial services industry.

• Knowledge of GraphQL Federation and its application in enterprise platforms.
