As a UX and Visual Design Developer for Thomson Reuters your responsibilities will be:

  • Work closely with stakeholders to uncover business needs, development possibilities and work closely with central UX on design strategies and communicate designs effectively.

  • Participate in UX workshops and research sessions: design studios, customer interviews and usability testing

  • Contribute in UX exercises, in creating personas, journey maps, sketches, scenarios, wireframes, mental models and prototypes

  • Effectively communicate research findings, conceptual ideas and detailed design rationale both verbally and visually

  • Advanced knowledge of information architecture, user interface standards, web navigation, web page layout

  • Responsible for producing responsive HTML 5 and CSS 3 using design artifacts

Qualifications:

  • Advanced UI/UX design and development skills

  • Expertise with modern web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap framework, SASS/SCSS, JavaScript)

  • Proficiency in Axure, Invision, Sketch and Adobe suite of products.

  • Wire-framing, prototyping skills, proof of concepts and creating image sprites.

  • Familiarity with font-awesome, material fonts and custom fonts is a plus.

  • Portfolio of work, websites, idea books demonstrating relevant experience

  • Must be highly creative, detail-oriented, passionate about delivering best user experience possible

  • Expertise with modern web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap framework, SASS/SCSS, JavaScript)
