Job Description:

i3 is seeking an experienced US Army aviation professional to join our team. This position can sit on-site in Huntsville, AL or Fort Rucker, AL with a future transition to Huntsville, AL. Candidate will provide subject matter expertise in a dynamic, entrepreneurial, agile environment. Candidate must be creative and energetic. Candidate responsibilities will include content creation, instructional concept design, and story board development. Candidate must be able to translate aviation terminology, procedure and operations for the interactive multimedia instruction (IMI) development team. Candidate would also assist with formal and organic business capture, product progress reporting, scheduling and customer (stakeholder) interface. Position could grow into program / project management.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS plus 10 years' experience or sixteen years' experience with no degree.

  • UH-60M Blackhawk Qualified

  • MEDEVAC Mission Experience

  • Expert communication and written skills

  • Project Management skills

  • MS Office Suite skills

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance

VIEW JOBS 1/4/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-04-04T00:00 Position Description: CGI Federal is seeking an HH-60L/M MEDEVAC Subject Matter Expert to provide systems engineering support to the Aviation Engineering Directorate, Utility Helicopter Division, located in Huntsville, AL. A successful candidate will have a solid technical background in airworthiness qualification processes per AR-70-62, and an extensive background in writing Airworthiness Releases (AWR), Airworthiness Qualifications Plan (AQP), Statements of Aircraft Qualifications (SAQ) and reviewing test plans, reports, statements of work, and detailed specifications. Candidate will also be supporting the Army's UH-72A Light Utility Helicopter program reviewing Airworthiness Directives (AD), Alert Service Bulletins, Safety Bulletins (SB), and Supplemental Type Certificates (STCs). Active DoD Secret Clearance required. Your future duties and responsibilities: * AED support: Preparing Airworthiness Releases, Airworthiness Qualifications Plans, Statements of Aircraft Qualifications, * Reviewing test plans, reports, statements of work, detailed specifications, Airworthiness Directives, Alert Service Bulletins, Safety Bulletins, and Supplemental Type Certificates * Executing engineering tasks of moderate scope and complexity * FAA requirements: Act as the principle support contractor for the UH-72A aircraft. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: * Experience with HH-60L/M and/or LUH-72A series aircraft as a maintenance test pilot is preferred * Knowledge of the Federal Aviation Regulations and Commercial FAA rules and regulations is required * A technical background in Army aircraft systems and program management is preferred * Experience and understanding of airworthiness qualification of Army aircraft systems is preferred * Active Secret level security clearance is required, per Federal requirements Provide technical management and leadership for a given project, task or sub-task with overall responsibility for cost, schedule, technical and employee performance. Perform evaluations in the development, design and implementation, and maintenance of complex programs or systems.
