MasTec is currently seeking Underground Electric Operators.
Operate various construction equipment
Perform service, safety checks and minor repairs on equipment
Work with maintenance crew or laborer crew when not operating equipment
Comply with proper safety standards and expectations
Visually assess digging areas to ensure it has been properly staked/located prior to digging
Valid driver's license
CDL Class A Drivers' License or willing to obtain one in 90 days of employment
1 yr. experience driving a straight truck and/or straight truck/trailer combo
Able and willing to work outdoors
Able to lift and carry at least 50 lbs
Able to perform physically demanding tasks
Able to work some nights and weekends
2 yrs. Construction experience
Able to demonstrate a working knowledge of basic laborer skills
