The Position: We are looking for a UCS Transportation Specialist, who is willing to embrace McKinleys mission and H.U.M.A.N values. The UCS Transportation Specialist is responsible for the transportation of children in the Unaccompanied Children Shelter (UCS) to their designated appointments.

Compensation and Benefits:

The pay range were offering is $20.00- $23.00 Hourly depending (Based) on experience.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED Required

• Possession of a valid California drivers license

• Word Processing

• Excellent Writing Skills

• General Office Skills

• Must pass pre-employment physical exam, TB and drug screening

• Ability to commute to various sites on campus

• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel

• VACCINATIONS REQUIRED: Be able to show proof of immunization or immunity to vaccine-preventable diseases transmitted by the respiratory route, including:

• Varicella: two doses of varicella vaccine (at least four weeks apart) OR born in the United States before 1980 with a reported history of chickenpox (verified by an adult present at the time of illness) OR titers indicating varicella immunity OR documentation from a healthcare provider verifying previous infection.

• MMR: two doses of MMR vaccine (at least four weeks apart) OR titers indicating immunity to all three diseases.

• Tdap: one Tdap dose.

• Influenza: one dose annually during flu season.

• DOJ, FBI, Child Abuse Index

• Insurability Under Corporate Automobile Insurance

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and categorize transportation paperwork inclusive of driver logs, manifests, trip reports and invoices.

• Inspect vehicles for safety issues, cleanliness, drivability and damages.

• Transport unaccompanied children either by car or accompany by plane, to the UCs designated discharge location appointment.

• All other duties as assigned.
