We currently have an exciting opportunity for a UGCS/OSGCS Qualified/Non-deployable Pilot at Ft. Stewart in Georgia. Under general direction, the UGCS/OSGCS Qualified/Non-deployable Pilot will be responsible for coordinating ground flight operations efforts including mission planning, execution and briefing, debriefing, aircrew resource management and ground flight safety.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under general direction, this position is responsible for coordinating ground and flight operations efforts including mission planning, execution and briefing, debriefing, aircrew resource management and ground and flight safety. Serves as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) of assigned Unmanned Air Vehicle(s) (UAV) and as Instructor Pilot providing academic and in-flight instruction.

  • Coordinates and actively participates in ground and flight operations efforts including mission planning, execution and briefing, debriefing, aircrew resource management and safety.

  • Remotely pilots vehicle to determine compliance with specification and operational suitability during engineering tests and flight test/demonstration support through specifically prescribed tests and maneuvers.

  • Defines, plans, organizes and executes flight programs and flight test events.

  • Ensures compliance with service guidance, company policy and procedures and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations.

  • May develop and verify procedures for use with new aircraft features and participates in the development of operational and safety procedures and training syllabus courseware.

  • Conducts demonstrations and participates in operational ground and flight tests of assigned UAV(s). Represents the organization with military and commercial customers.

  • Instructs UAV student pilots in ground and flight operations.

  • Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.

  • Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.

  • Other duties as assigned or required

Job Qualifications

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Typically requires education al training equivalent to the completion of a four-year technical degree or trade school equivalency and two or more years experience in UAV operation or aviation. Equivalent professional or military experience in UAV or aviation may be substituted in lieu of education.

  • Must demonstrate a detailed understanding of UAV and FAA principles, theories and concepts.

  • Must possess: (1) FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with a current instrument rating and the ability to maintain instrument currency or DOD specialized remotely piloted aircraft system training / qualification documented on USAF Form 8 or equivalent; (2) Pilot-in-Command (PIC); (3) at least five hundred (500) hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC)(4)ability to obtain DOD secret clearance as well as customer specific clearance(s); (5) ability to travel on CONUS and OCONUS deployments; (6) excellent analytical,interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to accurately interface with all levels of employees and military and civilian customers, contractors and aircrew; and (7) detailed knowledge of computer operations and applications.

  • The ability to work both independently and in a team environment is essential as is the ability to work extended hours and travel as required.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Avionics Technician in our Aero Services division to support MQ-1C Gray Eagle operations at Ft. Stewart in Hinesville, GA. This position may deploy both CONUS and OCONUS in support of company projects. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Works under general supervision providing technical expertise in installing and troubleshooting avionics systems. * Supports repairs, testing, and operation of Gray Eagle unmanned aerial vehicles, ground control stations, ground support equipment and associated electronic equipment at facilities as assigned requiring long periods of standing, walking, bending and lifting up to 50 lbs. * Participates in ground control station power up, ground checks, maintenance, aircraft recovery, status debriefing, repair and documentation of repairs and status. * Corrects minor discrepancies by removal, repair, or replacement of defective or deleted parts of aircraft electrical systems. * Performs limited functional checks on existing and newly installed aircraft electrical systems and equipment. * Operates automatic test equipment to locate, diagnose, and repair defective parts. Performs routine inspections on systems and equipment. * Fabricates, upgrades, routes, and installs wiring harnesses. * Disassembles, assembles, and adjusts electronic equipment. * Interfaces with engineering, manufacturing, and other disciplines of UAV operators, Army personnel and civilian customers when required. * Assists in the troubleshooting, component removal and replacement, testing and documentation in accordance with customer regulations when applicable, utilizing approved technical publications, maintenance standards, and approved procedures. * Interfaces with site team leaders, supply personnel, Airframe and Powerplant mechanics and UAV pilots. * Provides support as required to the UAS training center maintaining UAV training assets and systems. * Performs other duties as assigned or required.
